The Friends of the Moretown Memorial Library is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to encourage community engagement, promote volunteer opportunities and raise financial resources to support and enhance the library’s programs and services for all.
Some of our recent activities include:
- Working with the Library Director to purchase several new stories for the Storywalk™
- Providing crafts and food at Morefest
- Overseeing a student volunteer project
- Installing the latest Storywalk™ story
- Landscaping at the old library building
- Maintaining the Little Free Library at the Moretown General Store
- Applying for grants
- Working with the Library Trustees on their Strategic Bridge Plan
- Discussing ways we can help support the upcoming improvements to the Town Hall building
