Join artist Michael Albert for a hands-on collage workshop. Albert is nationally known for making collage artworks from cereal boxes & other printed cardboard consumer brand packages. His work has been described as a cross between Pop Art, Cubism & Recycling!

Good Citizen Challenge

We will focus on completing one of the KidsVT Good Citizen challenges listed on the bingo card. Finish a row of five activities and receive a Good Citizen sticker and patch, a pocket-sized U.S. Constitution, and an invitation to a fall reception at the Vermont Statehouse, with special recognition given to those who fill in their whole card.

How to Be An Animal Adventurer

Join Susie Spikol, a naturalist at the Harris Center for Conservation Education in NH and author of The Animal Adventurer’s Guide: How to Prowl for an Owl, Make Snail Slime and Catch a Frog Bare-Handed for this special event. Sharpen up your wildlife-watching skills and tune into the secret world of our local New England animals. Get your wild on and come to this program.

Circus Minimus: A one-man circus-in-a-suitcase
August 4th 6pm

Warren Library

From Kevin O’Keefe’s suitcase an entire circus emerges: tent, band, lights, the boisterous ringmaster Steve Fitzpatrick, the officious Mervin Merkle, the incredible Bumbilini Family, the Magician to the Stars Clyde Zerbini, and Keefer–an innocent trying to run away and join the circus. However, the most important performers emerge from the audience.

Beanstack Summer Reading Challenge

Readers of all ages across Vermont are invited to participate in the Summer Reading Challenge! Read or listen to any book and track minutes using the Beanstack web or mobile app. You can help young children participate by tracking minutes when reading to or with them.
